Nutrition can be daunting – especially after cancer treatment. That’s why Inova Schar Cancer and Inova Peterson Life with Cancer created this annual workshop for individuals hungry to learn more about nutrition.
Please join us on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, when world-class nutrition leaders from across the country and nutrition experts from Inova gather to share practical advice on some of the most popular questions we receive.
A light breakfast and healthful lunch are included.
Topics include:

- Processed foods: Making smart choices in a convenient world

Educational sessions will be supplemented with robust Q&A, multiple food demonstrations, mental and physical recovery practices, fellowship with cancer survivors, and goal setting to track personal behavior changes.

There are numerous, free parking lots on property. Park where convenient and follow the signage to Eat to Thrive in the main ballroom.
You are welcome to bring a companion, but every single attendee must be registered since space is limited.
We understand that life happens and plans sometimes change. We simply ask that you cancel your reservation if you cannot attend. We usually have a waiting list of people who would like to attend. Therefore, if you know you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation to open a seat for someone else.
