Join Tim Costales, MD, an orthopedic surgeon board-certified in orthopedic surgery, specializing in hip and knee reconstruction (total joint replacement).

Dr. Costales joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2016. Prior to joining Inova, he served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery and was the Director and Chief of the Joint Replacement Program at the Philadelphia and Wilmington VA Medical Centers, affiliated with the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Costales enjoys working with patients who are motivated to rebuild their mobility and independence after arthritis has eroded their quality of life.
