Join Dr. Max Lingamfelter, an orthopedic surgeon board-certified in orthopedic surgery, specializing in hip and knee reconstruction (total joint replacement). He joined Inova in 2024 and has been practicing since 2015. Dr. Lingamfelter’s clinical areas of interest include robotic joint replacement and direct anterior hip replacement, as well as complex and challenging revision cases. His latest accomplishment involves incorporating AI into the surgical process to enhance accuracy and improve patient outcomes by utilizing a computer model trained on over one million joint replacement cases. He enjoys working together with patients who are motivated by the desire to rebuild their mobility and independence after arthritis has eroded their quality of life.
