Join electrophysiologist David Laslett, MD for an interactive discussion about Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) and the latest advances in treatment. Dr. Laslett is board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He is part of the multidisciplinary team at the Inova AFib Center.

An estimated 10 million Americans are living with the condition, which can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. Understanding AFib involves knowing its symptoms and potential causes and recognizing the importance of timely diagnosis and management. New technologies available to Inova have improved the success and safety of AFib treatment, particularly for catheter ablation, which can now be offered to a greater number of patients, including those who were not considered to be good candidates in the past.
