Newborn Care

This class is being offered as a 3 hour course via Teams with a live instructor who will introduce newborn care basics. Class cost includes a virtual eBook. The instructions to access your eBook and the Teams link will be provided upon registration for the course.

• Topics include:
  • What to expect from your new infant
  • Holding and swaddling demonstrations
  • Feeding
  • Bathing and diapering demonstrations
  • Sleeping and safety
• Parents who plan to breastfeed should take a separate Breastfeeding class.
• This class does not include instruction on infant CPR or choking. Inova offers a separate Infant CPR course.
• 1 class session, 3 hours long
• Cost: $59
• Class fee includes participant and one support person. Support persons are encouraged to attend.
